Our co-founder, Thomas Guthrie (deceased) had over 45 years of experience going back to 1954 when he served in the capacity of Assistant to the President of C/B Guthrie Tariff Bureau. In 1974 Mr. Guthrie moved to California to work at Miller Traffic Services Inc. before eventually starting a transportation consultation firm, Guthrie & Associates in 1975. Mr. Guthrie appeared as an expert witness on several cases and wrote “The Freight Brokers Handbook”. In 2009 Mr. Guthrie started Transport Financial Services, LLC with the intent to share his 45 years of transportation experience with his customers. When Mr. Guthrie passed away, Mr. Marold Studesville who had been working with Mr. Guthrie moved into the position of CEO & Owner of Transport Financial Services, LLC.

Marold Studesville brings over 13 years of experience in the transportation industry. Transportation was a natural progression after having served in a logistics capacity while serving in the armed forces as a young man. Marold’s vision is to bring an old industry “Transportation” into the 21st century and make information and opportunity readily available to all customers.
With over 25 years of Sales and Marketing experience, Alyson joined the TFS team in November 2019. Alyson’s skills range from direct and social media marketing through to website design, development, and search engine optimization. Alyson works and manages the TFS portfolio of websites as well as designing TFS client’s websites. If you have any questions about the marketing for your transportation business, Alyson would be happy to help.
With over 20 years of Customer Service experience, Derick joined TFS 5 years ago. As Claim’s Investigator, he’s responsible for a variety of tasks, including coordinating with our brokers and serving as a liaison between them and potential claimants. In addition to claims, Derick works with our team in reaching out to new and established Brokers, Carriers, and Freight Forwarders informing them of the number of services that TFS offers.
Don joined TFS as our Transportation Coordinator. He works with FMCSA and DOT on issues to help our customers solve problems.
Laurian joined our team as a Graphic Designer, working with the team to design brochures, flyers and our clients websites. She will create you a web site from scratch for you and make sure you receive the best website for your customers and guests to learn about your business.
Rosemarie brings over 43 years of accounting, financial advisor, customer service and is always available to assist you on all company needs. Here at Transport Financial Service family, her primary goals as she has stated “Is to carry all responsibly for financial records, making sure all of our customers files stay up to date and to see that she stays on maintains their files. With all aspect of accounting making sure the payments are being posted correctly, to handling the appropriate taxes for federal and state deadlines and oversee efficient use of funds and related tasks”. Rosemarie is a Notary Public and would be happy to assist.
