KYU is a tax license issued for all carriers traveling on Kentucky roadways with a combined license weight greater than 59,999 pounds.
Description
This package includes:
- A KYU number is a tax number that is required of all carriers private and for-hire that will operate in the state of Kentucky at a combined GVW (truck/tractor, trailer and load) of 60,000 pounds or more. Once a KYU number has been issued it is required that you file quarterly reports with the state of Kentucky.
- Receive your KYU number in under 48 hours!
- To receive the number within 48 hours a carrier must be current with their UCR filing. Interstate for-hire must already have an active carrier authority, or they will receive their KYU number within 48 hours of their MC number going active
- $20.00 per extra unit
