Description

This package includes:

•  Your Oregon Weight Receipt and Tax Identifier must be renewed each year by January 1st.  Only accounts in good standings (all returns have been filed and tax due paid) will be renewed.
•  Motor carriers operating a commercial vehicle on Oregon public highways, with GVW over 26,000 pounds are required to have an Oregon Weight Receipt and Tax Identifier.  This can be obtained at the Port of Entry each trip or you can apply for the permit, which expires at the end of each year.
•  Oregon requires all new permit holders to obtain a bond (not included) before the permit will be issued.  Once your account is set up you are required to file monthly or quarterly returns, even if no miles were running.
